Well… you might just be in the right place!We’re looking for an Associate Capital Account Manager to join our GTM Financial Services Team in NoAM. You will be in charge of managing a book of retail customers. Your goal is to support the growth and operations of Lightspeed customers through the offering of our Financial services.As part of our growth, we are beginning the process of rolling out a more focused strategy on financial services.

Associate Capital Account Managers are key resources in the execution of our acquisition tactics. As trusted experts, you are responsible for business development activities in your assigned territory with the goal to drive awareness and adoption of Lightspeed Capital in the SMB segment.

What you will be responsible for: 


  • Proactively reach out to our existing customers to promote our financial services offering; 
  • Provide exceptionally high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness on Lightspeed Capital for merchants;
  • Build a trusted advisor relationship with your customers and identify where Financial Service opportunities lie across your book of business;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize the growth of your book of business; 
  • Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service to each merchant and coordinating with the Regional leader for Account Management to maximize opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Employ effective business development & relationship management techniques to assist in meeting or exceeding established sales targets for the territory;
  • Provide regular feedback and be the voice of the merchant to business leaders.

What you will be bringing to the team:


  • Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment;
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline;
  • Committed to a culture of positivity and high performance;
  • You enjoy the challenge of exceeding targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives;
  • Value feedback and thrive on constant improvement and learning;
  • Strong work ethic, and a self-driven desire to succeed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally

Even better if you have, but not necessary:


  • Experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry is a definite plus
  • Fluency in French.
