Account Manager
Workshop is a fast growing, venture-backed startup based in Omaha, Nebraska and we're on a mission to create more happy Mondays for employees everywhere.We build software to help internal communications teams create, send, and measure multi-channel, employee-centric campaigns. Workshop is looking for an Account Manager to work alongside our Sales and Customer Success teams. You’ll get the opportunity to partner with our customers, acting as their main contact for all things Workshop, ensuring they’re getting value from our products and features by developing a clear understanding of their goals and challenges.
You’ll help drive customers’ product usage and adoption, and help grow their accounts over time. A successful Account Manager at Workshop is able to help our customers achieve success using our products, leading to long-term loyalty and account growth. Omaha-based candidates are preferred for this role.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales and CS teams to understand customers’ initial employee communications objectives
- Develop strong relationships with customers, including regular check-ins, encouraging product and feature adoption, and providing ongoing coaching opportunities
- Prescribe Workshop features and workflows to help them accomplish their goals
- Expand usage and capture additional contract value by helping customers purchase for future scale
- Negotiate renewal contracts and manage procurement processes
- Participate in team and/or individual based retention and account growth goals
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Product teams to deliver customer product feedback
Account Manager Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in Customer Success or Account Management
- 1+ years of SaaS experience selling or supporting software products in a customer-facing role
- A proven track record of adding real value at a fast-paced and growing company
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly to different audiences (Executives, Engineers, Sales teams, and internal departments)
- Proactive and ambitious in nature; exhibits a growth mindset
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication - both written and verbal
