At Madrigal, we are committed to transforming treatment for patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). NASH will soon become the leading cause of liver transplantation in the U.S., but there are currently no approved medications to treat the disease.
Madrigal’s lead candidate, resmetirom, is a once daily, oral, thyroid hormone receptor (THR)-β selective agonist that is designed to target key underlying causes of NASH in the liver. Positive results from the first of two Phase 3 clinical trials of resmetirom in NASH were announced in January 2022; and results from a second Phase 3 clinical trial in December of 2022.Madrigal has established its leadership position in NASH by staying true to its science-driven foundation and building a company culture based on collaboration and trust.

These values will remain central to Madrigal as the company grows and evolves its commercial capabilities to prepare for a potential first-in-class launch in NASH.Position Summary: Sr Commercial Data Analyst This position will be responsible for the stewardship of Customer Master data and affiliations for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), and Payors.
As a member of the Data Strategy and Analytics team, this position will report to the AD, Data Management, and will work closely with sales planning to process data change requests (DCRs), research and resolve data issues/discrepancies, and update systems. In addition, the position will ensure data quality across all commercial data sets with a focus on QA/QC of SP data through our Data Aggregator. Core Responsibilities:Independently and proactively identify and resolve customer data-related issues and opportunities.
Monitor incoming requests, research data issues/discrepancies, make decisions, implement changes in internal systems, communicate decisions back to impacted teams and close out requestsMaintain accurate and current profile data for HCP and HCO customers by resolving duplicate recordsValidate profile data provided by field teams for new customers as necessaryUse (Veeva CRM) system, Veeva Network (MDM) application, and third-party databases and to update customer profilesCreate and maintain customer exception reports using SQL, CRM, or MDM report-building functions to identify and correct inaccurate customer data attributesManage relationship with HCP validation vendor, Speaker Program vendor, and Data Aggregator, to ensure accuracy of data and implement process improvements as liaison to Madrigal Compliance with regards to Sunshine Act reportingSupport Veeva Align Roster, Hierarchy, and HCP/HCO/Payer account Alignment process Provide standard and ad hoc reports on data quality Participate in Veeva CRM, MDM, Align, and Sales Reporting system enhancement meetings.
