Pendo is looking for a Senior HR Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst to join our growing team. This is a hybrid based role that will ideally report out of our New York, NY office. Other locations to be considered include Raleigh, NC or San Francisco, CA.
In 2022, Pendo went live with Workday across our offices globally.  We are on a continued journey to optimize and implement additional functionality as part of our tech stack roadmap. This will be a great opportunity to become an expert in system implementation and project management at a fast paced multinational startup. This role will report to the HRIS Director and will work closely with other members of our People Team.This role will be responsible for optimizing our use of Workday and supporting the rollout of additional functionality at Pendo within Workday and across our tech stack.

You should bring hands-on experience in Workday, along with knowledge of HR business processes and analytical skills. You will also be responsible for providing guidance to users and supporting requests for new features, improvements and reports. Role Responsibilities


  • Provide global techno-functional support for Workday HCM & Financials; including the design, delivery and support of one or more of the following modules: Absence, Benefits, Core Compensation, Time Tracking and Talent Management
  • Evaluate current functionality and downstream impacts with consultative recommendations for enhancements that you’ll deliver, while simultaneously delivering on business as usual needs  
  • Collaborate with IT, Data Team and Finance to drive functionality, integration and use of Workday as an enterprise tool
  • Design and deliver people analytics, custom reports and dashboards that provide visibility to executives, managers and People Team to drive decisions and action plans
  • Conduct and support compliance audits to enhance data integrity and cross-system integration
  • Provide guidance and training on system functionality to internal stakeholders and the People team
  • Optimize and increase global utilization of employee and manager self service
  • Support new Workday feature releases, bi-annually
  • Troubleshoot problems, test, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Log, route, and maintain support tickets on Zendesk

Minimum Qualifications


  • 3+ years of proven ability in supporting HR systems 
  • 2+ years hands-on configuring and supporting Workday HCM
  • Experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Onboarding, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Security, Talent/Performance, Dashboards and Reporting.
  • Experience gathering requirements and architecting Workday including building out business processes and/or modules
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and use initiatives to solve problems, exercising appropriate level of judgment 
  • A team player with the aptitude to manage confidential information in a professional manner and work independently as well as cross-functionally
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk a plus)

Preferred Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Workday integrations and security management.
  • Demonstrable experience in project management with a high degree of organization
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment with changing roles and responsibilities.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking, Finance and Payroll Systems
  • Certification in Workday HCM or other relevant Workday modules.

Compensation


Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.The expected salary range for this role to be performed in: 

  • Raleigh, NC: $100,000 - $125,000
  • San Francisco, CA: $115,000 - $144,000
  • New York, NY: $105,000 - $140,000
