Who are we looking for?


We're looking for a seasoned Product Development manager.  In this role you will be responsible for the continuous development of Ageras Salary and lead the cross functional team that is responsible for developing the product. You might have a background in product management or engineering and are comfortable with both the technical aspects of running a SaaS software solution and understand the business needs of our typical customers. It is important that you have documented experience in managing engineers. 

Who you are?


We expect you to have experience with SaaS software products. It is important that you have a strong technical background so you can lead our engineers to ensure we continue to have a strong and reliable solution as we grow our customer base. You are expected to have a good understanding of how a SaaS solution is architected and how its fundamental components work. We also expect you to have a passion for building products that are loved by our users. As you will be managing a team of highly skilled professionals we also expect you to be an experienced people manager that can support its team to be their best.

In your role you will be charting the course for one of our main products so we expect you to be able to have meaningful conversations with our revenue team and other stakeholders on how to best grow Ageras Salary to its highest potential.

What we ask of you: 


  • Shaper: You are self motivated and driven to continuously improve the product. You find it natural to continuously improve what we do
  • Team Player: This is a team sport, we expect you to learn and understand what can be done before you go charging forward. We have a lot of smart people in the business, we expect you to have agreed on what challenges to take on with your team and the rest of management
  • Supporter: Your most important goal will be to make sure that your team is thriving and they are able to achieve their objectives
  • Product & Technical skills: You have worked at least 5-10 years leading engineers if you have not been one yourself. You are used to working with databases, APIs, UI design and user interfaces. You like to get into the details of what problems a software product needs to solve. You are prepared to get to know the marvelous world of salary slips even when it requires you to read law texts
  • Language Skills: We expect you to be fluent in both Danish and English

What you'll do: 


  • You will be in charge of the development of our Payroll product
  • You will need to ensure the team is continuously motivated to provide a great product and service to our customers
  • You will need to make sure we can operate our product effectively and you will be responsible for maintaining the very high level of engineering standards we currently have
  • You will work with other teams and products in the organization to leverage synergies and ensure Ageras Salary supports the overall Ageras strategy of enabling success for small businesses
  • You will work closely with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure that Ageras Salary continues to grow and our customers continue to be ambassadors for our brand
