Our Ways of Working


We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees. We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite.

These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually. 

Due to the nature of this role, you would be expected to be on-site at our Emeryville, CA office Monday-Friday.


What the Role Is


Babylist is seeking an energetic and reliable Office Administrator  to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and administrative tasks. Reporting into our Senior Manager, Employee Engagement, the Office Administrator will be an integral part in ensuring our office operates smoothly and will be successful in supporting other business activities as needed.

Who You Are


  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
  • Welcoming visitors and identifying the purpose of their visit and assisting them
  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Monitor office expenditures and handle all office supplies and orders
  • Support meeting, conferencing, and other planning needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment and troubleshoot any issues
  • Assist in vendor relationship management

How You Will Make An Impact


  • You have 2+ years experience working closely with executive leadership to schedule/coordinate any necessary meetings, travel, etc
  • You are flexible and willing to handle any issues that may arise, may that be ordering snacks for the office, coordinating to fix a leaky roof, or putting dishes away
  • You think on your feet and are not afraid to get your “hands dirty”
  • You have strong communication skills and are comfortable interacting with our C-Suite and other leaders in the organization
  • You possess a can-do attitude and are able to think proactively
  • You have proven success in being a problem solver
  • You are able to work independently with little or no supervision

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.The estimated pay range for this role is $68,000.00- $84,660.00In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
