Job Description:


We are looking for a superstar Account Executive who will have a rare opportunity to scale the insurance sales and business development functions over the next 24 months and well beyond.  Working side-by-side with the founding team, this person will be a key contributor to turning Koop into a go-to brand for millions of enterprise insurance customers.  Specifically, the candidate will:Deeply understand the insurance needs of technology SMEs across a variety of industriesHandle various customer requests, from generating certificates of insurance to securing renewalsSolve customers’ insurance challenges and help them reduce their risk using the platform featuresCreate trust with customers and broker partners by providing excellent customer serviceCollect customer and broker partner feedback and provide valuable inputs to Product, Engineering, and Operations functionsHelp streamline internal operations to increase distribution throughput and grow the toplineFind creative ways to promote the company’s brand and build customer loyaltyNavigate complex regulatory environments of the compliance and insurance industriesWork with cross-functional teams in Distribution, Insurance, Engineering, Operations, and ResearchRepresent Koop Technologies and own the emerging risks narrativesYou will join a team of product builders, software engineers, quantitative modelers, insurance professionals, and emerging risks visionaries, all bound together by an incredible drive to define, build, and scale the world’s smartest insurance platform.

Job Requirements:


Demonstrated ability to handle complex customer and broker requestsDemonstrated ability to be a self-starter and customer relationship stewardAbility to learn technical concepts and terms quickly and use them in customer engagementsAbility to keep a sharp focus on the priority deliverablesFounder mindset, tremendous work ethic, and excellent written/verbal skills

Qualifications:


At least 2 years of experience at an insurance technology company, brokerage, or MGA in a mid-to-senior-level account executive role with a history of successful customer relationshipsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Arts, Science, or related academic fieldsExcellent organization, time management, and project management skillsExtreme attention to detailsExcellent communication and written skills
