As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying and analyzing opportunities for both current and potential customers. This role will primarily focus on operational analytics for a specific hospital-provider customer, and supporting the Tendo Product and Data Science Teams in making this work scalable to other clients. This will require you to leverage your expertise in healthcare processes and outcomes to synthesize data and provide insights that can drive improvements. You will be responsible for curating data sets, organizing information, and collaborating with the team to develop interactive dashboards. Additionally, you will also be responsible for gathering requirements from the client and working directly with the business to ensure the solution meets quality standards.

Job Location


Tendo has hubs in San Francisco, CA; San Diego, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; and Philadelphia, PA. Candidates may be located in any one of our hub locations.

Responsibilities


  • Assist with data sourcing, cleaning, and quality assurance of data output.
  • Requirements gathering for analytics solutions.
  • Support Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Product Teams.
  • Assist in data visualization conversations and help create and maintain reporting and dashboard tools for assessment and benchmarking activities.

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience working in data analytics and/or process improvement.
  • One of the following:
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Health Sciences.
  • Master’s in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Statistics.
  • Relevant work experience and portfolio of projects.
  • Core Competencies:
  • Use of business intelligence tools (PowerBI or Tableau).
  • Use of data in SQL databases to generate analytics.
  • Experience in the healthcare field.

Nice to Have


  • Experience with Epic’s Cogito reporting stack.
  • Intermediate level experience or better with the following programs:
  • Excel/Google Sheets. 
  • Powerpoint/Google Slides.
  • Smartsheets.
  • Jupyter Notebook.
  • Tableau/Google Data Studio/Plotly/Dash.
  • Pycharm, VSCode, Sublime Text, Atom, etc. 
  • AWS/GCP/Azure, etc.
  • Base Salary Range

    $102,000-$138,000This salary range is offered with the understanding that final compensation is based on a number of factors including geography and experience. Tendo also offers an equity package, annual bonuses, and benefits.
