For more information, visit www.inovio.com.Job summaryThe Temporary Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely performing assigned warehouse functions, such as monitoring and reconciling inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and management of inventory, processing shipments and receiving goods, maintaining packaging and shipping supplies, and performing other related duties.

The position utilizes established processes, procedures, and tools while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance. The individual is responsible for being a positive influence by exhibiting behaviors consistent with Inovio’s mission, values and code of ethics policies.

Essential Job Functions and Duties


  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for assigned job duties
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) including cleanliness and safety
  • Assure accurate inventory levels by effectively performing material counts, timely business system updates/reconciliation, and employing proper storage/inventory management techniques
  • Practice continuous process improvement methodology
  • Communicate improvement opportunities to management
  • Utilize shipping software and weight meters to prepare shipments to customers
  • Process receipts and shipments both physically and through the business system in a timely manner
  • Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties including unloading, storing, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, making boxes, and other similar duties
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Minimum requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained
  • Prior ERP system experience (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures as documented and trained
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer
  • Experience working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Ability to safely and efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jacks
  • Must have working mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be self-motivated, adaptable and maintain a positive attitude
  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, and transport up to 50 lbs.; frequent bending, stooping and reaching
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

The hourly range for this role is $20.72 to $25.00. Individual pay decisions ultimately depend on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, education, geography, internal equity and alignment with external market data.
