About G2’s Intern Program
G2’s Intern Program is back for its 4th amazing summer! You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Senior Leadership Team. We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, and we’ll close it out with G2’s Mid-Year Meetup, a celebration of the first half of the year.
G2 Intern Program Details
- 10 weeks: June 3rd - August 9th
- Hybrid: Tuesday through Thursday required in-person at our Downtown Chicago HQ
- Pay: $20/hour; 40 hours a week
About The Role
G2 is looking for an organized and dependable Privacy Intern who is looking to gain hands-on experience supporting the build out and maturation of an international privacy program. The ideal candidate has an interest in privacy laws and regulations, particularly GDPR and CCPA, and is excited about joining a fast-paced, industry-leading company. We are looking for a self-motivated professional who will help support G2’s information security and privacy initiatives! As a member of the Privacy team team you’ll have 4 main projects:
Support the data subject rights process from start to finishComplete privacy impact assessments and other supporting documentationMaintain G2’s data inventory and mapping data flowsMaintain cookie classification and consent recordsRequirements
- A rising Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university
- Attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
- Excellent organization skills (email, task management, follow-up)
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and independently, delivering on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
