In this position, you will heavily interface with business owners to understand specifications and requirements for a wide spectrum of goods and services. You will be expected to provide thought leadership and work either independently or with minimum supervision or direction. This position reports to our VP, Corporate Controller.
What You Will Accomplish:
Lead all global procurement and support internal stakeholders from across the enterprise in procuring the goods and services needed to build Illumio’s business
Drive cost reductions through negotiations and improve payment terms and cash flow for the company
Own and maintain policies and guidelines regarding spending and approvals, including but not limited to, spending policy, purchase order policy, signature approval matrix, etc.
Make improvements to current procurement processes and deploy best practices to ensure scalability, increase process efficiency, and enhance spend visibility
Eliminate waste and unnecessary spending by working with business owners to identify saving opportunities
Establish and maintain key metrics, including but not limited to, cost savings and avoidance, policy compliance, purchase order cycle time, and supplier compliance
Perform all procurement and contracting activities, including but not limited to, request for proposal/quote, pre-qualification, negotiation and preparation of contracts, vendor onboarding, coordination of Legal, FP&A, Security, and other internal reviews, etc.
Align with FP&A to ensure Purchase Requisitions are entered correctly (i.e., correct GL/department) and adhere to budgetary requirements
Manage governance and controls around the procure-to-pay process to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies
Be a trusted partner across the enterprise, understanding the needs of different functions (e.g., Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Facilities, etc.) and tailoring the process when necessary to meet those needs
Develop a forward-thinking and global perspective on building processes and systems that serve the company in its rapid growth and expansion into new geographies
What You Will Bring:
At least 10 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain management experience
Excellent ability in negotiating and executing supplier agreements
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Solid operational management and savvy financial and business skills
Familiarity with relevant legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk and maintain compliance
Experience working with Legal, Security, and Compliance to maintain approvals tying to the requirements of certifications and attestations (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, etc.)
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Must have experience with Coupa platform or similar application
Experience in the cybersecurity industry a plus
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering or a related area, with a Master's degree preferred

Pay range:
$188,000 - $225,000 USDThe pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
