Our company enhances the value proposition of properties by delivering exceptional amenities and experiences to tenants through hospitality services and proprietary technology, thereby fostering tenant satisfaction, retention, and overall property performance.What You’ll DoThe Director of Operations, East Coast will partner with the VP of Operations to ensure the sustainability and scalability of the operations department, including the programmatic integrity of our services.

This individual is responsible for organizing, maintaining and refining regional and company-wide data in support of operational goals. This individual will be focused on people leadership, operational efficiency, work quality, customer experience standards, and P&L profitability. Please note: this role, while primarily remote, needs to be located in the Northeast region of the U.S. and will require consistent travel within the East Coast region.

How You'll Do It


  • Lead and oversee operations team in assigned region.
  • Track progress on goals v. actuals and adjust strategy or initiatives as needed.
  • Share high level data and insights with VP of Operations.
  • Set and monitor goals and objectives annually for direct reports, evaluate performance and develop and support as appropriate Lead weekly and/or monthly team meetings.
  • Effectively engage cross-functionally to ensure operations and other departments are working together successfully.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Deliver marketing initiatives to operations team and monitor implementation.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Department to strengthen existing client relations, drive engagement and manage P&L Review and address client needs with the internal team; maintain feedback loops.
  • Confirm site decisions, such as staffing needs, based on site performance data and financial reports.
  • Problem-solve to address immediate issues or concerns.
  • Deliver cohesive communication to Operations team.
  • Collaborate with People Operations on strategy for staffing in existing and new sites.
  • Lead the hiring process and onboarding for new operations team members.
  • Advise on development plans for operations team members.
  • Drive the overall company strategy under the direction of the VP of Operations as it pertains to the operations department.
  • Review, analyze, understand and improve daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial performance with respect to revenue, expenses, profits and margins.
  • Analyze onsite operational data to understand health of each individual site.
  • Operationally support client relationships.
  • Develop and approve annual budgets for existing and potential clients Overseeing tracking of site data and P&L; analyze for major trends and growth opportunities.
  • Support with new market launches, including some travel.
  • Support the Operations Team with other projects and tasks related to increasing client engagement and member experience.

  • Humility: Listens to understand. Takes ownership whether you are right or wrong. Has the confidence to admit mistakes and collaborate on solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience


  • At least 5 years in manager or director level role with multiple direct reports
  • Previous hospitality or amenity management experience
  • High proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft products required
  • Experience creating budgets and  analyzing P&L reports
  • Demonstrated success innovating solutions to increase productivity and profitability
  • Ability to handle confidential materials and information in a professional manner
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
  • Note: this is a remote role with some travel required within East Coast region
