It is essential to show our customers the value of our product: Cost Saved, Downtime reduced, Identification of the biggest cost hoggers, Performance opportunities, etc. This team works with petabytes of data, high cardinality, and many scaling challenges while producing crisp, snappy reports leading to closed deals.
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to join our Reporting Product team. It is a hybrid role, and you will manage the team and work on the product.

Responsibilities
As a People Manager:
You will be responsible for the product development execution
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented software engineers
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to align on product requirements and roadmaps
- Ensure quality, scalability, and resilience in all deliverables
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Be the role model and champion of CAST AI core values.
As a Software Engineer:
You will be working in a highly skilled team and collaborating in a full development lifecycle
- Scaling challenges
- Participate in feature brainstorming, requirement gathering, and customer needs solving
- Design and architecture software, leveraging your experience to ensure scalability, maintainability and performance
- Write clean, maintainable and documented code using best practices and coding standards
- Ensure software reliability through test coverage and local testing
- Contribute in maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and alerting stack
- Respond to incidents to resolve customer issues or service disruptions
- Support team’s code (on-call week every few months)nd local testing.

Requirements:
- You must be located in Lithuania (or near its border) to be able to attend a Vilnius office once a week
- Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams
- Strong software engineering skills
- CI and git knowledge
- Strong experience with Time Series and data engineering
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A “yes we can” attitude.
