We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Commercial Team Lead for Europe & Growth markets.

THE ROLE
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing our commercial team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the overall success of our sales and business development team’s efforts.You will be responsible for overseeing and strategically managing a team of Account Managers in both established and new markets. As a key player within Better Collective, you will manage a portfolio that includes some of our most established markets, with a primary focus on either European and/or Growth markets.You will work with colleagues across multiple departments and quickly acquire an insight into various commercial activities, including close alignment with Business Owners, Partner Operations and Business Development Teams.Located in our London, Manchester or Copenhagen office, you will be required to travel regularly to meet key partners, attend industry conferences and for periodic meetings at our Copenhagen headquarters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Team Leadership:
Provide strong leadership to the commercial team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Mentor and coach team members, setting clear expectations and goals for individual and collective success.
Drive continuous improvement through feedback, training, and development initiatives.- Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement effective commercial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.
Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans to enhance the commercial team’s effectiveness.- Sales and Business Development:
Lead and execute sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Identify business opportunities with new and existing clients- Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Work closely with the Head of Commercial to integrate commercial strategies into the overall business strategy.- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of commercial initiatives.
Generate regular reports for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market performance, and strategic risks & opportunities.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Proven experience in a commercial or sales leadership role within the iGaming industry (required)
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious targets
Analytical mindset with the ability to to use data-driven insights for decision making
A strong understanding of the iGaming industry & market trends
Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, self driven & proactive, with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Fluency in English is essential
