Your Impact at CNIB
- Support meetings by preparing meeting agendas, documents, minutes and action items; coordinate meeting logistics including but not limited to scheduling meetings, booking rooms, and coordinating catering.
- Support calendar management by managing complex calendars, and proactively prioritize meetings, as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless administration, and proactively escalate and resolve potential issues.
- Draft and proofread documents as needed, while also maintaining confidential documents.
- Coordinate travel logistics by building itineraries through the internal travel team.
- Support with processing travel expense and collecting receipts.
- Support with coordinating of special events and initiatives.
- Manage expense reporting and reconciliation for members of the Senior leadership team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Requirements
Who you are:
Education and Certifications
- Degree or diploma in related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience and Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in corporate or non-profit environment.
- Strong organization and multitask abilities, with the capacity to prioritize task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with project management tools.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is an asset.
- Demonstrate professionalism with the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information with great discretion.
- Demonstrate a passion for supporting individuals with visual impairments and align with CNIB’s mission and values.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive working relationships.
- Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
- Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
