About the job
We’re seeking an experienced JavaScript Developer to join our growing AI Frontend team in either Wrocław or Warsaw. In this role, you will be leading development efforts of the team, and play a crucial part in the growth of one of our newest products, Aria. Aria is a browser AI built on Opera’s AI engine, based on several Large Language Models (e.g. Generative Pre-trained Transformer built by OpenAI or PaLM built by Google).
Role & Responsibilities:
- Determine the implementation of new features
- Lead the implementation of features in the code
- Improve the current code base
- Be part of technical discussions and code review
- Be a reference point in terms of development knowledge to others in the team
Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript (5+ years of experience)
- At least 3 years of experience with React and familiarity with its latest features (e.g., hooks). Experience with Vue.js or other modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
- Proficient in Redux and/or other state management tools (Redux strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with modern front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Vitest, Jest).
- Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack or Vite and package managers like npm or yarn.
- Practical and pragmatic approach to coding
- The ability to work collaboratively with the team in a supportive manner
