Wherescape is looking for an experienced sales professional to join our growing sales team and manage sales in the Nordics. The individual will be responsible for selling WhereScape data warehouse automation software and growing the region in terms of software revenue, customers and partners. Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:
Identify new sales opportunities using enabled qualifying skills and tactics supported by a structured sales process
- Generate revenue from new and existing customers in assigned territory
- Establish and maintain good rapport and customer support to existing customers
- Maintain and grow the region’s network of partners, including resellers, implementation partners and technical alliances
- Provide continuous verbal and written updates on forecast, opportunity pipeline and territory plan
- Exercise judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Possess thorough knowledge of company and products/services
- Be able to present the value proposition to all levels within the organization
- Qualify a high volume of prospects in and out of the opportunity pipeline
Required Experience/Skills:
- BA/BSc degree
- 3+ years of relevant sales/ business development experience preferably in software sales
- Experience and understanding of the Data analytics / Big Data / Data Integration / Business Intelligence markets. Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Database, ETL tool and/or Business Intelligence software products and concepts.
- Successful sales experience with enterprise software
- Successful track record as a new logo salesperson (demonstrating over-achievement of personal targets/goals).
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles involving pre-sales.
- Work experience in both an early stage and a large organization – an advantage.
- Good network of existing senior executive contacts within enterprises in the respective territory.
- Demonstrated ability to present effectively and to sell to a technical solution
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, organization and teamwork
