cFocus Software seeks an Applications Solutions Architect to join our program supporting the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Inspector General. This is a fully remote position. This position requires an active Public Trust clearance and must meet 8570 requirements.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field and masters preferred.
- Active Public Trust Clearance
- 8570 Compliant (Security+ CE)
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, AWS, etc.
- 5+ years of experience working with Cloud Solutions and PaaS platforms.
Duties:
- Maintain existing modules HHS-OIG has implemented in ServiceNow to include Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Security Operations Professional, Asset Management.
- Provide resources/support for the implementation of any new modules, as directed by the COR and determined by OCIO leadership.
- Collect and gather business requirements for custom application implementation, including any enhancements of existing applications.
- Architect andmanage the data contained within the applications in accordance with industry best practices, keeping in mind enterprise standards and needs.
- Ensure applications, features, services on the ServiceNow platform take user needs into account incorporating usability best practices and standards.
- Maintain appropriate project documentation, as directed by the COR.
- Contractor shall participate in requirement analysis planning in support of the migration and integration of current legacy systems.
- Examine systems for the purpose of achieving long term, full-scale integration required for the Government.
- Develop options for process improvement and develop tools as directed to support analyses.
- The contractor shall develop data models from existing application software and across functional domains for the purpose of designing standard/common/ migration systems.
- Evaluate process models within a functional area to facilitate data model development and data integration.
- Participate in the development of data migration strategies to identify the plans and processes for the transition of current legacy data.
- Review and analyze the implementation and migration of new technologies and develop recommendations for supporting the integration into an integrated application architecture.
