Links Global seeks a highly skilled and motivated Senior Communication Specialist with extensive experience in marketing communication and change communication. The Senior Communication will lead and oversee all aspects of a marketing communication project for a US federal agency. 
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing complex projects to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, and experience managing projects for federal agencies. The position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting internal and external communications with an agency with over 15,000 employees and millions of customers.The position will report to federal agency offices in Washington DC.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of communication and marketing experience and 5 years planning and managing communication campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Experience supporting senior executives and CEOs

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned with project objectives.
  • Oversee the development of marketing communication materials including media releases, speeches, and social media posting, ensuring they meet quality standards and are culturally and linguistically appropriate for diverse audiences.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project status and performance.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, content creators, and designers to develop impactful marketing materials.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination.
  • Event and activity management
  • Lead and manage other communication staff as needed.

Hourly wage based on $100k per year plus fringe benefits.
