The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and database systems. Responsibilities
Software Development - Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements. - Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.Database Development - Design, implement, and maintain relational databases. - Optimize database performance, ensuring scalability and reliability. - Develop and implement data migration and integration processes.System Architecture - Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems. - Ensure software solutions align with the overall IT architecture and business objectives. - Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for software development.Testing and Quality Assurance - Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and address defects. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.Documentation - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software applications and databases. - Document database structures, relationships, and data models.Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, system analysts, and business stakeholders. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).- Proven experience in software and database development.- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).- Knowledge of web development frameworks and technologies.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
