We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent masters-level graduate looking to kickstart their career in the world of ETFs and asset management. As an Investment Analyst at ProShares, you will play a critical role in supporting our product development and/or product management teams, with an emphasis on providing investment-related expertise to help create and position our products most successfully in the market.You will work closely with seasoned professionals at ProShares to provide investment expertise, research, and analysis that drive our product strategies.  This is a great professional opportunity for anyone who has completed a graduate program such as an MBA or a master's in finance and is looking to apply that financial knowledge in a dynamic, growth-oriented firm with a wide range of ETF product strategies. 

Essential Job Functions[1]:


  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research on ETF market trends, competitor products, and investor demands. Provide insights and recommendations to guide product development initiatives.
  • Portfolio & Financial Analysis: Analyze the performance of existing ETF portfolios and contribute to the development of new ETF products. Create detailed reports and presentations to support decision-making.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, distill, and analyze financial data to generate insights and investment strategies. Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to assess ETF performance.
  • Risk Assessment: Assist in assessing the risk profile of ETF products, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, portfolio managers, and other cross functional teams to help develop, launch, and manage ETF products.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure that ETF products adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to provide transparency on product performance and investment strategies.
  • Professional Development: This role will offer opportunities to oversee and lead projects relating to research and strategy and will provide future potential leadership opportunities as the candidate grows within our rapidly evolving company.

  • Education and Experience:


    • Recent graduate with an MBA, master’s degree in finance, or a related field, and/or a Chartered Financial Analyst-holder.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Knowledge of and experience in and with the financial markets, asset management, and ETFs is a plus.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
