The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do
- Work with a team of scientists to developnovel protein-binding domains for use in Arcellx’s cancer cell therapy platforms.
- Molecular cloning ofnovel binding domains into a variety of expression hosts (mammalian, lentiviral, yeast).
- Flow cytometry and fluorescent-activated cell sorting (FACS) of novel binding domains expressed on the surface of yeast and mammalian cells.
- Quantitative analysis of protein-protein interactions using Biolayer Interferometry (Octet) and ELISA.
- Experience in a Unix/Linux command line computing environment and Python is highly preferred but not required.
Skills and Experience We Look For
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree-level coursework covering the concepts behind immunotherapy, and cell therapy.
- Preference given to prior wet lab experience in an academic research or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with molecular biology methods, including primer design, PCR, gel electrophoresis, plasmid DNA preparation, cloning, and sequence analysis using SnapGene or similar.
- Preferred knowledge of additional methods real-time PCR analysis, flow cytometry, and bioinformatics.
