Visit www.straighterline.com for more information.The Account Manager, Early Childhood Education will work closely with the Director, Early Childhood Education to engage new and existing relationships with early childhood education centers, communicating directly with existing and prospective clients. This entry-level role will assist with the day-to-day operations, communications, and strategic development of the Partnership and Business Development team to maximize revenue through strategic client relationships. The position will report to the Director of Early Childhood Education.Ideal candidate will live within 90 minutes of Arlington, VA in one of the following states (VA, MD, PA, DC).
Responsibilities
- Support, develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Employ a systematic, process-driven approach to meet daily call goals and monthly renewal goals
- Support initiatives that drive team performance towards departmental and organizational goals
- Enter information into the CRM (Salesforce) and maintain an accurate and updated database of client information and activities
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and escalate issues as needed
- Assist manager with scheduling meetings, setting agendas, and related follow up from client calls
- Collaborate with internal colleagues such as marketing, product support, operations and student support services
- Develop and maintain understanding of ECE’s/StraighterLine’s products and offerings and effectively communicate to clients and prospects
- Actively participate in internal brainstorms to iterate on existing client support
- Minimal travel to tradeshows and conferences when necessary
- Perform other related duties as defined by departmental and organizational needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills; strong listening skills; demonstrated ability to ask effective questions
- Excellent attention to detail with thorough follow-up
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and assume responsibility for quality results
- Thrive in a dynamic, fluid team environment and able to deal with ambiguity
- Experience in HigherEd or early childhood education a plus
