We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network/System Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and administering our company’s computer networks. Your primary duties will include network maintenance, troubleshooting, and security. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running, and that all hardware and software components are working properly.
Responsibilities · Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems.· Ensure network security and protect against unauthorized access. · Knowledge in maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and other hardware.· Perform regular backups of data and ensure data integrity. · Provide technical support to users and resolve issues in a timely manner. · Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. · Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures. · Maintenance cross platform interoperability, Windows versus Linux, On-premises versus Off-premises. · Exposure to cloud design, implementation and maintenance.· Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in network administration. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field. · 1 year experience (2+ preferred) in network administration. · Knowledge in network security and firewalls. · Experience in secure data sharing and long-term data archiving in cloud environments. · Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN. · Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software. · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
