Salary Range

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division, working as a team member at our government client site to support various R&D and engineering tasks related to materials development at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Evaluation of material properties and characteristics for maritime application
- Perform physical testing of variety of polymer materials products
- Collect test data and maintain database
- Support shipboard installation and testing
- Prepare and review documentations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Tech or vocational school or equivalent
- 2-3 years of related job experience is desired
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge in material evaluation process
- Ability to support industrial laboratory and hardware
- Ability to maintain and upkeep test equipment
- Ability to travel and work in shipyard environment
- Experienced with MS Office skills
- Strong proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current successful background investigation completion is a plus.
