Business Acquisitions by Aprio is looking for M&A Brokers to join their dynamic team. Business Acquisitions by Aprio is a Colorado based business brokerage firm specializing in sell side transactions in the lower middle market. We provide small and medium sized business owners expertise in business valuation, exit planning, market strategy, buyer discovery, deal structuring, and negotiation.
Seeking candidates in the Denver, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins areas
This role is 100% commission based and will work as a 1099 contractor. As a 1099 contractor you will not be eligible for Aprio's standard benefit package offered to full-time team members.
Position responsibilities:
- The Consultant will provide the following Services to Legacy Transitions D/B/A Business Acquisitions, Ltd.:
Client Consultation and Needs Assessment:
- Meet with clients to understand their objectives, whether it's selling a business or finding a suitable acquisition.
- Assess the client's financial situation, industry preferences, and specific criteria for a successful transaction.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential businesses for sale or acquisition.
- Analyze industry trends, economic factors, and competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights.
Valuation and Pricing:
- Determine the fair market value of businesses through careful financial analysis, market trends, and comparable sales data.
- Advise clients on pricing strategies based on market conditions and business performance.
Listing Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation of business listings, including gathering financial documents, conducting valuations, and creating marketing materials.
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Actively seek out potential clients, both buyers and sellers, through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and online platforms.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, including buyers, sellers, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Deal Negotiation and Facilitation:
- Lead negotiations between buyers and sellers to reach mutually agreeable terms.
- Facilitate discussions and mediate conflicts to move the transaction process forward.
Due Diligence Oversight:
- Manage the due diligence process, ensuring all necessary documents and information are provided and reviewed thoroughly.
Deal Structuring:
- Advise clients on deal structures, including terms, financing options, and considerations related to tax implications.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist clients with the legal aspects of the transaction, working alongside attorneys as needed.
Marketing and Advertising:
- Create and distribute promotional materials, manage online listings, and utilize social media for lead generation and client acquisition.
Client Education and Advisory:
- Educate clients about the process of buying or selling a business, including timelines, expectations, and potential challenges.
Confidentiality and Ethics:
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and ethical standards in all dealings, especially when handling sensitive business information.
Continuous Learning and Development:
- Stay updated on industry knowledge, market trends, and legal requirements related to business brokerage.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the transaction process, including attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors.
Goal Achievement:
- Work towards achieving individual and team targets for deal closures, revenue generation, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Required to have an active Colorado issued real estate license or be in the process of licensure with the ability to be fully licensed within 90 days of hire date.
