Automation Developer
to join their dynamic team.This role will work with stakeholders to analyze business processes, recommend process improvements and automation solutions to improve overall process efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the hands-on design, development, testing, delivery, maintenance, and support of automation solutions, leveraging software development predominantly with UIPath, Microsoft Power Platform, .NET/C# (back-end), SQL (DB), to facilitate development of API integrations, Microservices, and various automation solutions.
Additionally, experience with automation/RPA/BPM tools such as Microsoft Power and UIPath would be preferred. Aprio’s Automation Team is responsible for creatively and efficiently identifying and eliminating wasteful processes through effectively leveraging existing and emerging technologies. The person serving in this role will have a unique opportunity to bring their software development expertise, curiosity and relentless need to find improvement to the table, while being armed with the support, tools, and resources to help improve the way we work here at Aprio. This team will need to be comfortable with staying uncomfortable. It will be challenging, messy at times, and will require the fortitude to push through the expected change management bumps by winning hearts and minds in the form of: ROI focus, increasing revenue per employee, reducing time to value in solutions, reducing errors and re-work, improve data quality and killing mundane tasks that nobody wants to do anyway.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyzing business processes and identifying key opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Becoming a subject matter expert on all business processes being analyzed for automation.
- Evaluating business processes and aligning appropriate automation solution(s) to ensure they meet business requirements and needs.
- Leading the hands-on design, development, testing, delivery, maintenance, and support of automation solutions leveraging.NET/C# (back-end), Angular.JS (front-end), SQL (DB), to facilitate development of API integrations, Microservices, and various automation solutions.
- Continuously monitoring implemented solutions to ensure optimal performance and opportunities for continuous improvement as well as debugging and quickly resolving any issues that periodically arise.
- Executing work leveraging Agile and Scrum methodology.
- Collaborating with internal and external business and technology members and stakeholders throughout automation lifecycle.
- Being a trusted automation and tolling advisor by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice.
- Facilitating and coordinating requirements walk-throughs and signoffs working with key business and technology stakeholders.
- Working within defined Software Development Lifecycle governance processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and deploying automation solutions using UIPath.
- Professional certification in a relevant technology areas.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques, such as Agile/Scrum, Jira, Trello, etc.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and technologies, such as natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, etc.
