We are seeing a
Pricing Specialist to join our growing team. As the Pricing Specialist, you will lead all pricing functions to include bid and proposal qualification, pricing and RFQ/quoting activity. Must have experience with developing and reviewing pricing spreadsheets and written cost narratives in response to Government solicitations. This role resides in our Finance Departmentand reports to our Chief Financial Officer. This position is remote with a 10% travel requirement.SIXGEN supports cyber and intelligence missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges.

We simulate adversaries and malicious actors to report details and actionable findings on critical assets and infrastructures. Core Responsibilities:
- Leads cost, price proposal strategy, planning and volume preparation in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications.
- Prepares and modifies complex spreadsheets.
- Coordinates effectively with Proposal Manager, technical staff, finance team, subcontractors and other associates to ensure that requires cost data are thorough, accurate and submitted on schedule.
- Writes clear and compliant cost narratives to respond to requests for proposals and/or clients.
- Provides pricing guidance to proposal and business development team to ensure pricing strategies are completed in accordance with the requirements.
- Works with a team to analyze current budgets and perform monthly quality assurance reviews to ensure project plans operate in accordance with contractual guidelines and procedures.
- Communicates pricing requirements, collects basis of estimate (BOE) data, present proposal status, and reviews pricing iterations.
- Develops models to track budgets and pricing forecasts for awarded contracts.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience developing pricing proposals in a government contracting environment .
- Familiarity with contract types, including firm fixed price, time and materials (T&M), cost-plus, and ID/IQ contracting, as well as a diverse range of customers, including civilian and defense agencies.
- Understanding of both product and services based deliverables to the Federal government.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Knowledge of cost estimating techniques including experience managing pricing within multiple cost pools and forward pricing exercises.
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple proposals at a time.
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Excel.
- Flexibility to work as needed during the proposal process to meet deadlines.
