cBEYONData is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with a specialty in the implementation of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and expertise in Agile methodologies and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) to be a vital member of the IT team responsible for optimizing IT service management processes for one of the largest, newly deployed, ServiceNow platforms for a Federal customer. The platform is a multi-tenant instance with corresponding complexities and consists of solutions built in ITSM, ITBM/SPM, ITOM, and SecOps.
In this role you will be a key member of the team working on the design, configuration, and implementation of IRM GRC processes and integrations, including Audit Management, Policy and Compliance Management and Risk Management within the ServiceNow platform.In addition, you will be supporting deployed modules and services within the platform which could include Incident Management, Problem Management, Major Incident Management, Idea / Demand Management, Project and Portfolio Management, Change Management, Discovery, Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, Security Operations, Knowledge Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Self-Service Portal.
In addition, there are several integrations with external systems such as SAP, HP ALM, Splunk, ACAS/Tenable, AESS Tychon, STIG checklists and others that need to be either created or supported.
Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Configuration and Customization:
Configure ServiceNow GRC modules to align with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.Implement and customize policies, controls, and compliance management workflows.Work with ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Request Management.Integration with Other Systems:
Integrate ServiceNow GRC with other systems to ensure a seamless flow of information.Collaborate with IT teams to integrate GRC processes with broader IT and business processes.Continuous Improvement:
Monitor the performance of GRC processes and identify areas for improvement.Stay informed about ServiceNow updates and enhancements to leverage new features.Agile Methodologies:
Apply Agile principles and practices to drive efficiency and flexibility in IT service management.Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.ITIL Framework Implementation:
Implement and enhance IT service management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices.Ensure proper incident, problem, change, and configuration management.Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain documentation related to ServiceNow configurations and integrations, Agile workflows, and ITIL processes.Generate and analyze reports to monitor KPIs and service performance.Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and alignment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement improvements.Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and streamlining within the IT service management domain.Training and Knowledge Sharing:
Provide training and support to end-users and IT teams on ServiceNow functionality, Agile practices, and ITIL concepts.Share best practices and knowledge within the organization.Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining multiple ServiceNow instances.
- 1+ years proven experience in implementing and configuring Integrated Risk Management processes and integrations within ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification required.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance certification preferred but not required.
- DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) I (e.g., Network+) or higher (e.g., Security+) certification preferred but not required.
- ITIL training or certification preferred but not required.
- Agile experience or training preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Secret security clearance preferred,
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical staff.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support.
- Ability to thrive in an Agile and collaborative work environment.
