The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Excel, including VBA programming, and the ability to discern when to use code versus formulas. Knowledge of SharePoint basics is required, and the ability to connect Excel to other providers such as SalesForce, SharePoint, and Access is a must. Additionally, the candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft’s Power Platform, specifically PowerApps, Flow, and to a lesser extent Power BI, and know when to use which application to provide the best experience for users.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and dashboards.Utilize VBA programming to automate complex financial calculations and streamline processes.Maintain, debug, and optimize existing VBA code in existing workbooks to meet new requirementsModernize solutions that can be supported in environments of government clients and enhance security and integrity of dataDetermine the most efficient solutions, whether through code or formulas, based on the task at hand.Connect Excel to various data providers such as SalesForce, SharePoint, and Access.Train and support team members in using Excel and specifically highly customized workbooks effectively.Stay updated on the latest developments and features in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Power Platform.Use PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI to enhance user experience and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Microsoft Excel expert.High Proficiency in VBA programming.Strong knowledge of SharePoint basics.Experience connecting to outside data sources for performing analysis and report building in ExcelWorking knowledge of Microsoft’s Power Platform, specifically PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and training skills.Knowledge of financial analysis and financial statements.Experience producing financial statements in Excel.Additional InformationTrue Tandem is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
