Copper River Cyber Solutions is seeking a
Senior Security and Governance Specialist to join our team in support of a new contract at the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Responsiveness. This position will be performed remotely with the occasional need for an onsite meeting in the Washington D.C. area.The Senior Security and Governance Specialist is responsible for providing analysis and consulting on cyber workforce development and aligns recommendations to the NIST National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Framework.
Responsibilities
(include but are not limited to)
:
- Reviews mission objectives and priorities and recommends improvements to tailor processes to a Federal Cybersecurity Program
- Reviewing the onboarding process for both client and contractor personnel., providing recommendations to streamline the process and creating a role-based matrix (access to data types) of the cyber workforce that can be implemented by supervisory and network administrative personnel.
- Providing analysis and consulting on cyber workforce development
- Reviewing the onboarding processes

Requirements:
- Clearance:
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Education:
- Bachelors degree or prior, relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience
- Experience reviewing the onboarding process for both client and contractor personnel
- Experience streamlining processes
- Experience creating role-based workforce matrixes
- Experience producing quality documentation
- Experience working with Federal government clients
- Cyber Security knowledge and experience a plus
- SharePoint knowledge and experience a plus
- Microsoft 365 knowledge and experience a plus
- Platform and data migration knowledge and experience a plus
- Cloud knowledge and experience a plus
