Our multi-disciplinary practice is built on the core values of professional excellence, design quality and collaboration. We are seeking a Plumbing Engineer in Training I to join our team in the
Raleigh office.
The Plumbing Engineer in Training I works with Project Engineers on multiple design and documentation tasks while gaining experience toward their P.E.Essential Functions:
- Perform plumbing and fire suppression load calculations.
- Perform HVAC load calculations.
- Size and layout plumbing, HVAC, and fire suppression piping.
- Layout equipment rooms with proper clearances and access.
- Design and draft details, sections, etc.
- Confer with project team members and other engineering staff and prepare design modifications as required.
- Survey existing conditions.
- Attend seminars and continuing education programs.
- Participate in design, analysis and documentation training.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.
- E.I.T. (or qualified to sit for E.I.T.)
- 0 to 3 years’ experience
- Strong Technical Capacity
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit
