Image Engineering was founded as a company that pushes boundaries, develops new ideas through design and fabrication, and is a leader in the visual display and special effects industry. We are comprised of a team of artists, engineers, event producers, fabricators and creative thinkers. Our strength lies in the broad range of techniques we use to create first class spectaculars including laser effects, video projection and mapping, pyrotechnics, architectural lighting installs and custom constructed sets and props. We have worked all over the United States completing over 500 projects in the field of creative multimedia shows for clients such as Rihanna, Jay Z, Tiesto, Lady Gaga, America’s Got Talent and multiple professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA and NHL.
We have also created permanent and temporary interactive installations for world class venues including the Staples Center, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and The Walt Disney World. The success of our shows lies in the reliability and safety of our equipment maintained by our stellar Warehouse Team. We are looking for a dedicated full-time Warehouse Technician interested in joining Image Engineering to prepare the gear sent out on our show sites, whether for game day presentation on an NFL field or a tour for a musical artist.
This individual would report to our Headquarters in Baltimore, Monday through Friday during our normal business hours. Overtime may be available or required based on need. After training in our Warehouse, an opportunity to serve as a Technician on a show may be optional.
Role Description
Warehouse TechnicianFull Time HourlyM-F, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PMBenefits Included, Overtime in the evenings possible
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage special effects and support gear for show use under moderate supervision by:
- Following detailed verbal and written instructions for packing each show given by Director of Logistics
- Inspecting, verifying and counting equipment for accuracy and overall condition prior to shipping gear
- Scanning all equipment through our inventory management system
- Packing gear in storage containers for shipment according to Gear List prepared by Director of Logistics
- Receiving, inspecting and storing equipment coming back from shows
- Performing basic inventory maintenance when necessary
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Prepare packages for shipment
- Receive shipments from 3rd parties
- Conduct local pick-ups and deliveries using Company-owned vehicles
- Keep a safe and well-maintained workspace by keeping shelves, pallets and workstations neat
- Routinely complete compliance related trainings and maintain OSHA and Company-related compliance policies
- Follow company procedures and directives
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn how to repair special effects and event production equipment
- Forklift certification preferred; Willing to be certified on and operate forklifts regularly
- Comfortable utilizing ladders up to 12’
- Able to frequently walk, bend, squat, balance, lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Able to pass background check and drug test
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least one-year job experience preferred
