Position Title: Program Management Analyst - JuniorCompany: ACT1 FederalLocation: Lakehurst, NJAbout ACT1 Federal: Delivering mission-critical solutions and industry-leading talent to advance the missions of the partners, organizations, and communities we serve.In this role, a typical day will include:
- Providing support for the NAWCAD Lakehurst Program Management (PM) function for ALRE and EAF programs for the full range of Navy, DoD, and FMS aircraft.
- Recommending methods for implementing policy and regulation as it pertains to acquisition planning and provide expert opinion to leadership on the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for assigned programs.
- Facilitating and participating in ALRE Flight Safe team meetings and conduct Flight Safe training courses for NAWCAD Lakehurst ALRE personnel in accordance with the NAVAIRINST 13800.18 establishment of ALRE Flight Safe program.
- Providing acquisition support to the assigned Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), including preparation and staffing of ARPs in accordance with DoDI5000.2.
- Providing PARM support for developing, maintaining, and transmitting Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Information (GFI), or engineering data to support ship acquisition and modernization or system/equipment acquisition programs to cognizant NAVSEA Program Managers.
- Providing support to include preparation of program milestones with estimated cost and manpower requirements, justification for costs and manpower, justification for delays in program spending, modifications to budget submittals and back-up data/charts to support estimates for weapon systems.
- Collecting, analyzing, and managing PM data on in-house as well as on third party software, web, and database as required for ALRE projects to include control and maintenance of data repositories, data warehouses, and relational databases.
- Providing support for the preparation, coordination, and evaluation of program management reviews, including program status and milestones, technical reports, briefings, documentation, and product roadmaps.
- Participating in the Annual ALRE/EAF conferences providing support in meeting preparation including drafting agenda, preparation of meeting materials, and meeting minutes with action items.
- Assisting in defining ALRE requirements and associated support strategies for new and modified weapon systems
- Supporting Logistics Managers (LM) in the preparation of input to acquisition schedules.
- Performing cost benefit analyses, supportability analyses, and assess impact on new and modified and pre-planned improvements, Engineering Change Proposals, Technical Directives, Provisioning Documentation, Design Change Notices, and other documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Three (3) years of relevant Program Management leadership experience may be substituted for the degree
- Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to effectively operate with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) policies and processes, with an understanding of how to effectively work within the constraints of NAVAIR financial, staffing, and contracting systems.
