OBJECTIVE
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Field Operations and managed by the installation manager and supervising mechanic, you will provide support to the Field Operations Department, as well as secondary support for the field operations team. Jr. Mechanic will be responsible to maintain the Field Operations Code of Conduct, professionally and efficiently perform daily Jr. Mechanic duties, and work closely with their immediate supervising mechanic.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
· Provide full support to the Lead Mechanic.· To maintain a clean work vehicle and work area.· To learn and acquire the skills necessary to become a lead mechanic.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Uphold Field Operations Code of Conduct among fellow mechanics and helpers.· Ensure morning loading and departure is done safely and efficiently.· Support to maintain a safe and clean vehicle.· Assist in the loading/unloading of daily material from vehicles.· Maintain current installation apprentice duties.Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
· Basic electrical knowledge/experience.· Basic hand and power tool knowledge and experience. · Clean driving record.· Ability to work from aerial equipment. · Cooperative with a good attitude.

While performing the duties of this job the team member is occasionally exposed inclement weather, automobile traffic, moving mechanical parts, high voltage, heavy equipment dangers, welding/burning flash, and high, precarious places.
The noise level and eye dander in the environment can be moderate to heavy where protective hearing and eye covering may be needed. Periodic exposure to factory environment and condition such as fumes, dust, and mist.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
