Who we seek:
We’re looking for a Multimedia Designer Intern for our Training Team, reporting to the Director of Training. Our Training Team is based primarily on the east coast, and supports BigID University. BigID University is a complete educational platform that houses learning opportunities for our customers and partners who are looking to expand their knowledge in data privacy, security, and governance. As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for creating digital content that will accentuate the value of our University as well as the courses and certifications we offer.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has hands-on video editing and production experience and is able to work well within a team dynamic.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the technical training team and social media coordinator to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects
- Edit raw footage to produce engaging and compelling video content
- Enhance videos with graphics, animations, and special effects as needed
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in multimedia design and video production
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in video production and editing, either through coursework, internships, or personal projects (and can provide work samples upon request)
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe, Final Cut, Camtasia, or similar software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, as this is a completely remote position
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges

This is a 10-week paid internship starting on June 4th and ending on August 9th, working up to 35 hours per week. Hourly pay for this role ranges from $15/hr - $17/hr.
