Werkstudent / in (m/w/d) - Software Engineer (Bengali)

You will learn and use the most advanced technologies in the fields of natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), natural language generation (NLG), speech technologies, and search technologies… all built in-house at SoundHound.

This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week at an hourly rate of €20. This job is available throughout Germany. You are expected to work out of our office, located at Dircksenstraße 3, 10179, Berlin, a few days each week if you live in or near Berlin.
In this role, you will:
- Leverage your coding skills and your knowledge of the Bengali language
- Work from a modern office located in Alexanderplatz
- Develop Conversational AI, leveraging a powerful domain-oriented development paradigm
- Implement and scale the core code base, solving both algorithmic and design challenges
- Write code that interacts with third-party API’s
- Collaborate with engineers working on a variety of languages
We would love to hear from you if:
- You have coding experience in C++ and at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, LUA, bash, etc)
- You have native-level language skills in Bengali and are fluent in English
- You are interested in learning while designing efficient architectures, algorithms, and interfaces
- You enjoy working on hard open-ended challenges and improving existing solutions
- You’re comfortable working in a Linux environment
- You are a current student at a German University and you will be enrolled at the university throughout the duration of the contract with SoundHound (12 months)
