The Senior Compensation Analyst is a strategic leader responsible for assisting with compensation programs, including the design, development, and implementation of base and variable pay structures. This role emphasizes project leadership, taking initiative in identifying opportunities, and guiding strategic compensation decisions through comprehensive market analysis and collaboration with leadership. Tasked with ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices, managing key compensation communications, and adapting salary and equity programs to meet organizational goals. 
  • Reports to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards
  • This role will be in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at our Lehi, UT HQ & has the option to work from home Monday & Friday. 

What you will own


  • Analyzing market trends and salary surveys to maintain competitive compensation packages and inform strategy.
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses, including cost modeling, employee impact, and benchmarking, to support program changes.
  • Developing and managing dashboard reporting including turnover, performance and retention metrics. 
  • Providing support for salary planning, administering equity and incentive programs, and managing annual salary review processes for internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Offering training and support to HR partners and managers on compensation practices, including salary benchmarking, compensation concerns, and job benchmarking.
  • Collaborating with HRIS, payroll, and finance to ensure accurate compensation data management, incentive payment processing, and financial modeling.
  • Leading initiatives to research, implement, and communicate new compensation strategies and policies, enhancing organizational understanding and compliance.
  • Summarizing and presenting compensation analysis findings and recommendations
  • Offering administrative support for salary planning, equity programs, and incentive tracking.
  • Developing training materials on compensation practices for HR partners and managers.
  • Partnering with finance on models to guide compensation decisions and various compensation plans.
  • Assisting HRBP with job description analysis, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) determinations, and grade assignments.
  • Administering incentive and bonus programs aligned with organizational performance.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • One to three years of experience as a compensation analyst
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Advanced data and analytical skills using excel/google sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Advanced excel/google sheets skills
