About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and proven leader to join as our Vice President of Sales, EMEA, reporting to G2’s Chief Revenue Officer. As the VP of Sales, EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in leading the EMEA region for G2. This team includes BDR (Business Development Representative) AE (Account Executive), and AM (Account Management) teams based in our London HQ. G2’s EMEA business is one the fastest growing segments and poised for significant growth in the next few years. This challenging yet rewarding role demands strong GTM leadership and execution, strategic thinking, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.In this senior-level, global, and cross-functional position, you will collaborate with our sales, product, and marketing teams to drive our success and continued investment across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and mentor managers and their reps, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and execute key opportunities for high-value deals, serving as an Executive Sponsor for critical customer and prospect relationships.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed the team's annual quota, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Forge strong cross-functional relationships and influence others toward shared goals.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with Marketing, GTM Ops, and Solutions teams for a cohesive and integrated approach to achieving business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of customers, partners, and industry thought-leaders across the EMEA region
- Collaborate with other leaders to refine and optimize the go-to-market strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Implement and uphold strong accountability measures for key input metrics to drive overall team performance.
- Utilize forecasting expertise to provide accurate and timely insights into sales pipeline and revenue projections.
- Invest in the growth and development of team managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and leadership excellence.
- Identify and nurture emerging leaders within the sales organization to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
- Own and drive performance metrics for the EMEA region, measuring success against key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
- Implement data-driven strategies to identify areas for improvement and optimize team efficiency.
- Develop and execute customer acquisition, retention, and expansion strategies aligned with overall business objectives to drive G2's expansion in EMEA markets.
- Act as a proactive contributor and collaborator within the senior leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and scaling high-performing sales teams, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and execution of the overall go-to-market strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly with Marketing, Operations, and Solutions teams.
- Sales Expertise: In-depth understanding of sales processes, techniques, and forecasting methodologies.
- Performance Management: Proven ability to drive accountability, coach for performance improvement, and develop leaders within the sales organization.
- Metrics-Driven: Comfortable utilizing data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
