About The Role
Every Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer is forced to constantly evaluate their Go-To-Market strategy in order to grow their business and meet their company goals. B2B SaaS companies spend upwards of 30% of their revenue on sales and marketing, yet struggle to outpace their competition. G2 has an industry-leading solution and marketplace that receives over 80 Million buyers annually and over 3,000 customers.We are looking for a highly collaborative Relationship Manager to help our customers meet and exceed their revenue and growth goals in our Commercial segment.
You will have an opportunity to partner with the world’s most innovative SaaS companies from well-funded Unicorns to publicly traded companies. This is not your standard B2B SaaS point solution, you will help pave the way for how your customers market and sell. The Commercial business at G2 is established which presents a great opportunity to help us achieve revenue goals, and we’re hiring to meet the needs of our business.
In this role, you will:
- Drive revenue through your book of business to ensure you deliver against customers' key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on retention and growing your book of business to exceed goals
- Prospect and unlock expansion revenue by educating contacts about how G2’s Marketing Solutions can help grow their business
- Act as the CEO of your territory through your own customer research, strategic value-based selling, and building business cases and return on investment analysis
- Advocate and support your customers through partnering with the appropriate internal resources: Customer Success Managers, Solutions Consultants, Customer Support, and the G2 Research Team to provide a world-class customer experience
- Build & maintain your expertise in B2B SaaS Go To Market Strategy: Marketing strategy, Sales strategy, planning & tactics like ABM, ROI methodologies, etc
Minimum Qualifications:

- 5+ years of quota-carrying sales as an Account Executive or Account Manager (holding at least $1.5M+ in ACV)
- Track record of high achievement in current and previous roles
- A driven and competitive personality who can thrive in collaborative environments
- Successful history of identifying and closing net new business and ability to prove consistent delivery against targets
- Experience selling SaaS Solutions to B2B Marketing and Sales Executives
