Madrigal is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a liver disease with high unmet medical need.The company has a recently FDA approved medicine, REZDIFFRA (resmetirom), a once daily, oral, thyroid hormone receptor (THR) β-selective agonist, for the treatment of patients with moderate to advanced NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis) Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, collaborative and able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and with discretion.Responsibilities:Manage executives' calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangementsManage expense reports on a timely basisCoordinate and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and conferencesRespond to email correspondence and authorizing messages on behalf of the executivesScreen and direct phone calls and emailsHandle confidential information with discretionConduct research and prepare reports as neededAssist with special projects, as assignedSupport team members, including VP of Investor Relations and VP of FinanceCollaborate with other EAs and executives, if needed, to ensure efficiencies across all functions with a positive, helpful attitudeQualifications:Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar roleBiotechnology industry experience a strongly preferredPrevious interface with or understanding the Wall Street investment community considered a plus but not required Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant softwareAbility to prioritize tasks and work under pressureBachelor's degree preferredBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesApply for this job
