Team Description


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Corporate Marketing to join our executive team. This role will lead brand, events, content, social media, creative services and the Website for both the Pendo and Mind the Product brands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading Marketing teams within the SaaS industry and creating a category-dominating brand. This role has a global remit, will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, and works in partnership with our revenue marketing leadership. 

Role Responsibilities


  • Challenge the organization with creative thinking, identifying bold new ways to elevate the Pendo brand, and accelerate brand discovery.
  • Lead owned events (Pendomonium and MTPcon), communications, branding, content creation, social media, and creative services.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels. Enhance brand recognition and preference for Pendo and Mind the Product.
  • Ensure brand consistency and integrity in all marketing communications.
  • Produce content for brand awareness, pipeline generation, and win rate acceleration.
  • Manage public relations globally and social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate marketing initiatives into strategic goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for brand acceleration.
  • Constantly test message resonance and optimize messaging. 
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Work closely with the revenue marketing team for cohesive strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate marketing strategies and results.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively.
  • Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of SaaS marketing experience, with 5+ years in leading teams in a senior marketing role.
  • Ability to lead and scale teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Global industry and company events experience.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS industry dynamics.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for trade shows and events.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in a leadership role at a category-leading brand.
  • VP experience within SaaS, particularly in events, communications, or content/brand.
  • Lead through change and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Explore new ideas and technologies fearlessly. Proven track record of bold brand advancement strategies.
  • Direct experience organizing large-scale user conferences.
  • Efficient budget management.

Compensation


Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.The expected base salary range for this role is:USD $210,000-$275,000Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
