In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, and maintenance of electronic security systems, including access control systems, video surveillance systems, and intrusion detection systems. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that their security needs are met and that systems are installed and functioning properly.
Responsibilities:
- Install and program Alarm (Intrusion), Access Control, IP video systems.
- Provide updates to project manager and customers.
- Test, troubleshoot and preform necessary corrections to security system.
- Install, program, and test electronic security systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure successful project completion
- Provide technical support to clients and address any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation and maintenance activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
- At least three (3) to five (5) yeas of security installation experience and network ability.
- Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
- Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, work extended hours, and travel independently.
- Valid state driver license with a clean driving record for the last three (3) years.
- Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred DCJS Certified or ability to obtain is required.
- Security industry certifications.
- Knowledge of: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi.
