Streamline Innovations, Inc. is seeking an RNG Project Manager & OEM Specialist, with a focus on Manufacturing. The RNG Project Manager & OEM Specialist drives the enforcement of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality within our equipment fabrication processes outsourced to third-party vendors. By harmoniously blending project management and liaison responsibilities, this role ensures that bespoke equipment projects with external fabricators align with our unique OEM objectives, standards, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fabrication processes for new products, considering cost-effectiveness and feasibility
  • Assist the engineering team in creating detailed specifications for fabrication and assembly processes
  • Examine cost structures related to third-party fabrication, highlighting potential areas of savings without compromising the bespoke quality
  • Work with the manufacturing and engineering teams to implement process improvements that result in cost savings without compromising on product quality
  • Audit and assess third-party fabrication processes regularly, processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas that can be optimized, with a specialized lens on OEM specific requirements and standards
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and source cost-effective materials and equipment that meet quality standards
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to bespoke equipment production rates, defect rates, other OEM-centric performance metrics, and overall performance metrics from the third-party fabricator
  • Champion projects by defining scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and third-party fabricators.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Work closely with the engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure that products are fabricated to exact specifications
  • Cultivate robust relationships with third-party fabricators, ensuring that communication channels remain open and constructive
  • Address and navigate the unique challenges and complexities presented by OEM manufacturing
  • Design and uphold KPIs that reflect the nuances of OEM fabrication efficiency and quality
  • Deliver insightful reports on OEM-centric metrics, areas of improvement, and project statuses to senior management
  • Facilitate a feedback-rich environment, emphasizing the distinct challenges and requirements of OEM fabrication
  • Promote and implement lean manufacturing principles tailored for OEM contexts
  • Coordinate collaborative improvement sessions, ensuring that OEM-specific requirements and challenges are at the forefront of discussions
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements specifically pertinent to OEM manufacturing
  • Advocate for the integration of state-of-the-art technologies to elevate OEM processes at third-party fabrication sites
  • Ensure that third-party fabricators are well-trained on new OEM-specific processes, standards, or techniques introduced by our company

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in equipment fabrication, with a specific focus on OEM manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience working with third party fabricators or manufacturers
  • Demonstrable experience in project management
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other tools relevant to equipment design and fabrication
  • Deep understanding of the unique challenges, standards, techniques, processes, and requirements of equipment fabrication and OEM manufacturing
  • Knowledge of OEM manufacturing nuances, including bespoke equipment production and proprietary processes
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application in an OEM context
  • Awareness of the latest technological advancements in fabrication and OEM manufacturing
  • Understanding of project budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to continue professional development, demonstrated by attending workshops, courses, or industry conferences related to fabrication, OEM manufacturing, or process optimization
  • Up to 30% travelling

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or other advanced qualifications in related field
  • Project management experience with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other relevant process improvement methodologies
  • Additional industry-specific certifications related to fabrication or OEM manufacturing are a plus
