This position has multiple job openings (and may be filled at multiple levels).DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and apply supplier management processes in compliance to the AS 9100 standard
- Develop and maintain records of the Axiom Space external providers Key Performance Indicators
- Conduct initial qualification reports of external suppliers for the inclusion to the Approved Supplier List
- Establish and approve applicable quality clause flow down requirements for the procurement of Human Space Flight goods and services
- Support various working groups and panels specializing in anomaly/Nonconformance resolution ensuring the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) implementation
- Develop working relationships with external providers to maintain a seamless supply chain of goods and services
- Conduct supplier assessments/audits for compliance that support continuous improvements
- Develop quality reports/presentations and perform other Safety and Mission Assurance (S&MA) tasks as necessary
- Maintain and improve the Axiom quality processes and procedures
- Implement and ensure adherence to the nonconformance system that ensures nonconformances are investigated, trends are tracked, and issues resolved
- Develop Supplier Quality reports/presentations to S&MA and program leadership in alignment with our Quality Policy, QMS, and Quality Manual to support the objectives and goals of S&MA

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Excellent writing and presentation skills
- 7+ years of experience in Procurement Quality Engineering for human spaceflight
- Experience in evaluating external providers ability to demonstrate compliance to the AS 9100 standard
- Working knowledge of AS 9100
- Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) and quality processes related to the aerospace industry
- Ability to plan, perform analyses, and report results in relationship to the quality requirements, product and process assessments, audit, procurement, trends, and improvement of products
- Experience in the EMU (Extravehicular Mobility Unit) project or the EVA (Extravehicular Activity) program is desired but not required

- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
