Additional locations include the Washington D.C. where you will start as fully remote and then transition to hybrid once offices are opened in those locations.Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.

What You’ll Do


As the first Channel Manager in the history of LILT, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and executing strategic channel initiatives and pipeline. You'll identify and nurture relationships with key partners, including API integrations with platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Shopify, Contentful, and many others, as well as collaborate with agency and digital transformation partners. By leveraging your excellent communication and negotiation skills, you'll effectively manage programs and enable partner sales teams to promote our solutions.The ideal candidate will build relationships with our champions, business cases with their constituents, “partnerships” with their businesses, and pipeline through all of these efforts.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute a channel strategy aligned to LILT’s Annual operating plan to be accountable for incremental pipeline, revenue growth and increased market share

  • Develop and execute pipeline generation programs with partners, such as webinars, live events, panels, and joint promotions to drive mutual business growth

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key channel partners, including API integrations with platforms like Adobe Experience Manager, Shopify, Contentful, and over 100 other companies

  • Build and grow LILT’s presence on and engagement with key marketplaces including GCP, AWS, and more

  • Create channel-specific sales enablement materials, including presentations, collateral, and sales tools to empower partner sales teams to effectively promote our solutions

  • Collaborate with digital transformation and systems integrators entities such as Accenture and Deloitte to maximize the potential of our strategic partnerships

  • Work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment and integration of channel marketing initiatives

  • Track, analyze, and report on channel performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization and improvement

Skills and Experience



  • Field Execution Focused: Proven track record of developing and maintaining successful channel relationships that drive new revenue and pipeline growth for firms; Preferably experience as an over-quota Account Executive for a similarly situated SaaS high growth firm

  • Strategic Channel Builder: 6+ years of experience in channel, alliance, or partnership management, or a similar role, preferably within the B2B SaaS and services industry; have existing relevant executive relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Related Global Solutions & Routes to Market: Experience working with API integrations and a strong understanding of partner ecosystems, i.e. Shopify, Contentful, GCP, AWS, and other platforms; experience in building global alliances

  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Our founders, Spence and John met at Google working on Google Translate.  As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both worked on language technology to make information accessible to everyone. They were amazed to learn that Google Translate wasn’t used for enterprise products and services inside the company and left to start a new company to address this need – LILT. At its core, LILT has always been a machine learning company since its incorporation on March 6, 2015. At the time, machine translation didn’t meet the quality standard for enterprise translations, so LILT assembled a cutting-edge research team tasked with closing that gap.
