We are looking for a FT Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of our Ontario location and perform key administrative duties. The Pharmacy Assistant will register patients, input prescription medication orders into our system, and perform other tasks to support operations. Availability: In-person Mon-Fri 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Principal Responsibilities:



  • Register patients in our system; create patient profiles, accurately input medical records and prescription medication history and maintain integrity of database

  • Support Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician with the processing of prescription medication on an ad-hoc basis

  • Service the requests of doctors and patients and direct inquiries to the Pharmacist

  • Adhere to the rules and regulations stipulated by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (“NAPRA”) and Ontario College of Pharmacists (“OCP”)

Job Requirements:



  • At least 18+ years of age with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Experience with adjudicating third-party billing and working with Pharmacy Management Software

  • Knowledge of computer systems and accurate typing and data entry skills

  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines effectively

  • Maintain strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Respect for Health & Safety procedures and protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for colleagues

  • Fluent in English
