About the CRM Tribe


CRM Tribe is composed of 3 teams


  • Billing/Growth team and Auth scope: We enable all Gorgias products and the full path from account creation, account provisioning, and agent creation to the moment customers pay for their account and eventually upgrade

  • DevRel and Object team: By owning the API curator role and the main APIs, the team can connect internal and external developers’ needs and build a coherent platform. Thanks to its interaction with partners, it also has all the insights needed to build a strong developer ecosystem, owning this domain end to end.

  • Scale-up goals: Mission-driven aspect of the team with rotating engineers involved to unlock the main bottlenecks and iterate faster on company-wide initiatives.

As a tribe frontend engineer, you will work with the three teams, with the Growth team being the main one.

Our work arrangement is hybrid, with a requirement of two days per week in the office : Wednesday and Thursday. This position is open in Lisbon, Bucharest, Belgrade & Paris.


About the Role


The growth team is in charge of the following:


  • Develop robust and scalable flows to support user and customer journeys on the platform (e.g., merchant should be billed precisely once for the right amount)

  • Put monitors, metrics, and end-to-end tests in place to guarante and flow SLOs are up to Gorgias’ standards.

  • Improve and enhance the customer journey from landing on the signup page until renewing their contract every year, taking into account Gorgias’ customers’ specificities, their business, and their needs as they grow and navigate across our prices.

What You’ll Do



  • Your mission is to take ownership of all the front-end components related to onboarding and billing. This involves maintaining existing components and developing new, reliable, reusable components that full-stack developers can use when implementing features.

  • You will drive good practices in the team by coaching Full-stack Developers about the do's and don'ts of front-end development and performing code reviews.

  • Collaborate with a team of senior ICs on developing, refactoring and grooming core components reused across the engineering team.

  • Ensure the highest security standards and compliance with regulations when implementing front-end features that handle sensitive data.

Who You Are



  • 5+ years experience in front-end

  • 3+ years of experience working with react

  • You have experience in architecting frontend applications.

  • You have experience with SPA frontend stacks using jest for unit tests and a storybook for our design system.

  • You are proficient with typescript and data-fetching libraries such as react-query or vercel/swr

  • You have experience working with a design team.

  • Experience with high-traffic applications and continuous development/deployment

  • You care about working on applications that prioritize the customer's needs, and you thrive in a fast-paced and distributed environment. You are comfortable working with a product team, providing feedback, and suggesting new ideas.

  • You’ve built on top of integrations with joint SaaS billing, invoicing, and payment processors software like Stripe as a plus.

  • Experience with backend frameworks is a plus.

  • Experience with react applications that do not use redux is a plus.
