Full-timeDescriptionInterclypse is seeking a Financial Consultant to assist customers to develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls that enable adequate and reliable information for various financial purposes and mitigate risks where possible. This role will require customer-facing collaboration focused on creating methodologies and approaches to prevent, detect, or correct audit concerns across the enterprise. This position is 100% onsite at the customer location.Responsibilities will consist of, but not limited to, the following:
- Help develop and deliver the annual risk assessment that leverages financial statement data.
- Assist with developing controls, processes, and procedures to validate audit assertions (e.g., existence)
- Assist with developing and implementing corrective actions to address auditor-issued findings.
- Help deliver annual assessment reports.
- Deliver technical expertise and support to ensure the customer is cognizant of current and future financial standards and regulations affecting various lines of business.
- Help standardize business processes and reduce reporting risks.
- Serve as a knowledge resource related to applicable federal internal control standards.
- Help document customer objectives and risk assessment methodologies.
- Assist with preparing the annual Statement of Assurance
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of accounting or financial management experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous finance or accounting experience in DoD or Intelligence Community

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, candidate’s experience and education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
