Full-timeDescriptionSFI is searching for a Scrum Master to work with government and team members to translate product strategy and roadmap into well-defined user stories, features, and enablers that will realize the product vision, improve the customer experience in a Scale Agile Framework environment (SAFe).The Scrum Master responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Coaches the team to create better Solutions, improve business results, and better their processes.
- Facilitates team meetings, including:
- Backlog Refinement
- Iteration Planning
- Daily Stand-Up
- Iteration Review
- Iteration Retrospective
- Facilitates program events (as coordinated with the Release Train Engineer or Executives).
- Removes impediments and barriers to the team’s progress.
- Protects the team from outside influence.
- Tracking and communicating agreed upon team metrics.
- Assists the team in implementing SAFe and working with other teams who may or may not be using SAFe.
- Requirements elicitation: Apply different techniques to facilitate meetings and workshops, create a shared understanding with stakeholders, and engage team-members without using reams of paper or electronic documents.
- Requirements analysis: Collaborates with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epic stories into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team.
- Requirements documentation: Requires a strong experience managing product backlog and product roadmap.
- Strong experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria to express requirements.
- Experience providing product management support such as prioritization and backlog grooming.
Requirements
- BS or BA in CS, CIS, EE, Math or equivalent technical studies.
- 3 to 6 years of experiences in area of specialization.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing IT software development as a Scrum Master.
- Must have experience working with Agile/Scrum.
- Experience working with tracking, testing, source control and Roadmap.
- Strong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desired Certifications:
SAFe Certification or equivalent Scrum Master Certification preferred

- The salary for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 annually

Salary Description$85,000-$100,000 Based on Experience
